Cam Abbott (they/them)

Strategist | Advocate | Survivor

I am a strategist, researcher, and mental health advocate dedicated to rethinking and rebuilding mental healthcare.

With a background in business strategy and lived experience navigating the mental health system as a transmasc person with bipolar disorder, I work at the intersection of research, advocacy, and systemic transformation.

I earned my Business Administration degree from UNC-Chapel Hill’s Kenan-Flagler Business School, specializing in global business communication and strategy. Over the years, I’ve consulted for leading organizations in government and healthcare—including my work at Ernst & Young (EY), where I apply strategic frameworks to drive meaningful, lasting change.

But beyond the corporate world, my work is deeply personal:

I’ve lived through the very challenges I now seek to solve.

My Mission:
To break down systemic barriers, reimagine patient experiences, and advocate for mental health solutions that center equity, inclusion, and human impact.
